Saturday couldn’t have been a more hilarious day! I stepped into the brides room to greet Emily for the first time that day, and I hear one of her sisters say “Bisquit, you look beautiful today!” And she was referring to Emily! And throughout the day, I heard Emily called everything under the sun… Bisquit, Emma, Biz, I could go on and on! But needless to say, it was a day full of laughs. The “Backes Sisters” did not disappoint, thats for sure!
The wedding was held at First United Methodist Church http://www.fumc-mtown.org/ and is our most FAVORITE church to photograph in. It has endless opportunities for great images, and we were thrilled to be photographing there yet again. Emily and Charley both looked amazing. Charley’s smilie was so genuine when he looked at his bride, you could tell that even though they met 9 years ago on a missions trip, that their lives were just beginning.
The beautiful reception was held at the Elmwood Country Club here in Marshalltown, and the evening was perfect for some outdoor images. A big thanks to both Emily and Charleys parents for raising 2 great kids and for a wonderful evening.
